Gem beds are still used by numbers of Colleges and Universities, often assembled as bunk beds.

Our loft kit converts the school bed into a loft bed. The loft kit was designed to use the entire Gem bed and by so doing, eliminates the need to store the school bed. This is a huge advantage since most schools will not allow their furniture to be removed from the room.

Assembly

Easy assembly, approximately 25 minutes. Tools and instructions are provided. The assembly steps shown below are the same for mid size and full size lofts.

Step 1: If the school beds are bunked, unbunk the beds.

Step 2: Assemble VLF Loft kit.

Step 3: Set the school bed on the VLF loft frame.

Step 4: Attach safety rail (not shown).

Step 5: Attach the book shelf (not shown).
